The Life Paths Research Center, run by our Director Dr. Sherry Hamby, is a research institute devoted to learning about the ways that people develop personal strengths and cope with adversity, especially in Appalachia and other rural communities.
Dr. Sherry Hamby is joined by co-investigators Dr. Victoria Banyard, from Rutgers University, Dr. Heather Turner, Dr. Kimberly Mitchell, and Dr. Lisa Jones, from the University of New Hampshire, and colleagues from the National Children’s Advocacy Center.
