Alli Smith was the Assistant Project Manager at the Life Paths Research Center. Alli graduated magna cum laude with honors in Psychology and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from The University of the South. As an undergraduate, Alli was actively involved in the Bairnwick Women’s Center, focusing heavily on women’s health and sexual assault prevention.Alli interned with the Yale Child Study Center, researching the trajectory of autism in the Yale Early Social Cognition Lab (YESCog). She presented a poster on longitudinal predictors of functioning in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Alli previously interned with Thistle Farms, where she cultivated an interest in resilience by working alongside women who had survived addiction, prostitution, and trafficking on the streets of Nashville. Alli’s academic interests include feminist identity development, body image, gender studies, victimization and resilience. Alli is a clinical graduate student at Kansas University.
